The Road To Friendship! 🛣️💖

Hey guys! We are back! Well, actually, I'm the only one here so I AM BACK! It's me, June! The one known as kind and awesome but, very, very weird! Don't worry, Kate will be here in 3, 2, 1... I’M HERE PEOPLE!!!  The one known as crazy and friendly, but is very good at leading! Ok, forget about that. Time for the moment you've all been waiting for... THE STORY OF HOW ME ( KATE ) AND JUNE BECAME FRIENDS!!!

June:

    It all started when I moved into the same neighborhood as Kate. I was the new kid. My neighbor was about the same age as me, and we became friends! ( Note: My neighbor was NOT Kate! ) One day, he took me the playground. He introduced me to one of his friends.

Kate: 

    I was about to leave the playground when my friend walked up to me with a girl behind him. He said, "Hi Kate! I wanted to introduce you to my new neighbor June!" "Hi! I'm Kate!" I said warmly. "Hey... I'm June." she replied quietly.

June:

    Soon, Kate left the playground. "She was nice!" I thought, "I liked her!" Soon, it was time for us to go home too. When I went home, I forgot all about the nice girl I had met at the playground for a long time... until something happened that triggered my memory.

Kate:

    The lockdown had started by the time I started talking to a lot of my friends over the phone. One day, one of my friends who I used to talk to every day said that I should also start talking with June. I didn't have the guts to call her because I had only talked to 2 or 3 times before. But one day, I got really bored. Then my instinct kicked in and told me to call her.

June:

    Ringgggg, Ringgggg! Click! "Hello?" I said, "Who is this?" "Oh, um hey! It's me... Kate!" said the voice. Soon, my mouth took over and we talked for hours. I had finally found a friend!

Kate:

    We had started talking at 5, but by the time we finished, it was 7:30! Soon, we started talking every day! 6 months later,  Covid-19 was still a threat, but we could go to the playground. Me and June started doing everything together ( Except things that required privacy, of course! ) We went to the store together, played together and ate together. We even went on a road trip together! We were best friends!
